Alright, it's been so so long since i last posted something.so many things had happened.of course, O-levels are done and even the results are out.the results were not really satisfying but sometimes we will just need to except it and move on with the next part of life. To students taking O-levels after me, a piece of advise:"Although most ppl or teachers say that what you get for your prelims will usually be the lowest that you get for Os if you continue to work hard,it may not be true when you actually receive your Os result". That happened to me...unfortunately.

anyways, as i've said it's not only abt results in life but what you get out of it.In my previous post, i've said that i wanted to get into a college but i did not think it might be the best choice.But i did consider it and minus 2 CCA pts, i could get into JJC. However, looking at what i am going to study,GP and humanities will kill me.Esp Malay and GP.and if i join a JC, i don't think i will have a chance to fly.

I've applied to join the Singapore Youth Flying Club(SYFC).and i've passed the interview, so nxt is medical.so i guess going to a poly wld be a good choice to study the choice of course and learn to fly.luckily, there were many choices of course that i could choose.

Actually in the JAE, i put TP as my 1st choice and NP as 2nd.anyway, TP is very far frm my hse but only there have that course but i missed the cut-off pt by 1,so chances of getting there is actually quite slim.So I thought i let God decide where i shd go.he decided that i shd get into NP.

So, for the nxt 3yrs, i will be studying Aerospace Technology at Ngee Ann polytechnic.

Hopefully my coming days at np will be a fruitful one and help me acheive my dreams.

Right, this is my last post before my o-levels. i have not been blogging for the past 2-3 months. i think you should know the reason why...

Prelim 1 just ended. And got back the results. Not too bad, at least better than mid-yr.Prelim 2 will be starting this coming Thursday.

many things happened during the past months. happy and sad.... maybe will write about these things nxt time. i am just writing this post to have a significance as a last pose before o-levels.so, see you after 13 Nov(my last paper)

anyway, maybe i might post again just one last time during the exam period.to write about how i feel when my birthday is on an exam day!! or maybe i might not. I'll see when the day comes soon.Do wish me luck!!

The element of failure is what pulls back someone from acheiving his/her goal.That's what is happening to me now.The choice of going to a Junior College(JC) or Polytechnic. Since the beginning of this sec4 year, many people have been asking me this question. I really did not know how to answer it.When a teacher ask me, I will just simply pick either one without really considering them.Just to show that i have a sense of direction.

A few months later, my answer was, "I don't know"

Last Tue, i made a decision.
I realise that i wanted to go to JC but there was this element of worry of failure that keeps telling me,

"If cannot,.......".

So, if cannot the other choice was the polytechnic.That's why I have been holding back.It's the worry of "what if this happens or what if that happens or what if none happens"

The "what if" part comes bacause we are worried we might not be able to acheive our target.If we have that part and we do not acheive our target, we will not feel so disheartened.Through this, we are trying to escape one thing, the impact of failure.But if we do not make a goal, we will just keep driving in any direction and not get where we want to be.or at worst,lost.

At last,the decision is made........

Yes! It's ONLY 134 more days to O-levels. Don't think that i have been counting it for months. It's just that i just felt we ought to face up to reality and be aware how scary it is.I managed to find a place to write the days on and it's erasable.So i had the experience of erasing and writing again as each day passes. It's stressful and worrying. Try it if u do not believe me.(Caution: May cause heart-attack)

2 weeks of the June holidays have passed.It also meant our HOPE programme is over. Now i understand why the sch named it HOPE. We(or maybe at least I) desperately needed some hope. Without hope, i think i will fall.

Like what i had said in my previous posts, the past few weeks were very busy weeks.Many big events just passed.

My Student Council Investiture was last Thursday.We had many rehearsals and meetings to prepare for this day.I am happy that it all went smoothly. This day also marks my last day as an active Vice-President of SC. It's certainly sad leaving all of them but i can't stay forever. Someone else got to take over and move on to the next level.Good Luck to S6 now known as C6 when they take over the 5th council.The 5th council is now known as R7(Retired 7)!

2 days after the investiture was my confirmation.It was great. I was actually nervous at first but when i was standing in front of the bishop, it all happened so fast. I am now filled with the Holy Spirit!After that was dinner at my house. My whole extended family came.Had a great dinner:)

2 days after my confirmation is my Malay O-levels Exams. which is today........It was fine for me but had some shocking experiences. I actually managed to finish my karangan P1 1/2h before the actual ending time. I have no idea how i did it but it just happened. Not sure if it's a good or bad thing. I think i will only know it when the results come out in August. May whoever that's marking my paper be merciful!

Lastly, CHELSEA won the FA cup!Congrats to them especially to Lampard who scored the winning goal.Finally a cup after 2 yrs.

I am very happy with the experience i have gained from the first 50% of my life in 2009. Let's continue to persevere on with the remaining 50%!

Yes, it's dying day today like what my sis wrote in her blog. Receiving our MYE results. I received my :
E.M(P1/P2),
A.M(P1),
Phy,
Chem,Comb.humans(Geog,SS),
Malay.

Not to say i did very super badly. It's just that i feel i am slipping further and further away frm my usual grades like each test i do. Maybe my expectations for myself are too high, but how can i accept that as a reason when my other classmates can do better than me? I cannot let myself just die down in this battlefield esp. when the main war haven't even started. Sometimes I think to myself, will I really make it if i continue working hard?But i cannot stop working hard. Not when I have to give advice to my juniors.

The previous para might have given u the thought that i did horribly. I passed everything so far. Lowest grade B4 i think. Actually expected those marks after i ended the papers or maybe worse.But i am sure i can do much better if i push myself.Wish me luck for my other papers on Mon.

Enough abt exams and results, i went bowling yesterday with some ppl. It was fun.Luckily managed to score some points.Although most of it went to the gutter. It was my first time so i think i did ok.

I will be going to receive my Overall All-Rounders Award this evening at Yio Chu Kang. At least something for me to be glad abt after the whole day of looking at my results.

Having some "free time' now to update my blog. Thanks to Meila for re-reminding me.

Cross-country was last week. I got the 49th position.I ran as fast as i could at the finishing point and managed to cut some 6people.That's my strategy i guess.

anyway, the main mid-yr exams are starting next week and i have planned out what to study on the different days. Hope that i can follow it.

I am quite worried for some subjects actually. The marks that i get isn't very satisfying in those tests.The days are getting nearer.Y am i not feeling anything??

Last Wed, I had a chat with my mentor.I had a weird feeling and did not know what to answer when he asked me "What do u think u will be 5 years down the road?"We calculated and i realised that 5 yrs down the road, i will be 21yrs.It's so scary.Those 5 yrs will pass very fast.5 yrs back, i was in primary 5. It did not take long for me to reach where i am now.

After a long pause, he asked me questions instead of me giving him a whole big chuck of answers.It all adds up to I will still be living with my family, hope to learn how to fly, do sth i engineering, be with my 3 wonderful friends.it seems so nice to think about it. But imagine all the work i will have to do before i reach that level.

Got to go now. It's 11pm. Cannot stay too late.The next post will be after my exams. i hope i will not be too busy.Work hard everyone!Good luck to all taking exams(esp.ASSES).

After 40 days, the word is back again.Just attended an Easter Vigil mass yesterday. It was the longest mass i have ever been to. 3hrs+. Anyway, i am very happy i managed to attend it. It was my first time ever going for this Easter Vigil. It was so nice and solemn. The atmosphere of happiness and prayer was all present.

I saw people got baptised and confirmed too. They were so happy. It must be a very fulfilling experience. I will get a feel of it too soon.Confirmation is on 30 May!

After busy in church for the past week, I guess next will be in school. The remaining of Apr and May will make up parts of the most important days in my secondary school life. With my last CDSS speech day, presenting the SC state-of-the-union, mid-yr exams, SC investiture, choosing a teacher-mentor.I guess more will come out.

Term 1 is over!!

The first 10 weeks of my life in 2009 is filled with so many things that i have no one word to describe it. It's all filled with work+fun+excitement+challenges+busy+madness+fustration+satisfaction=?

Just had a 'survivor'camp a few days ago.It was also within these 10 weeks that i had the latest meeting since i was born.Until 9.07pm.Now, just thinking about the pile of homewrk will make me sick. i had done some but it seems a never ending process.I wonder what's holidays nowadays. Ask any student and u won't hear the word REST.Even Mr shashi ask us to have a break. It will be good if i could fnd time.

I can't believe O-levels is like getting nearer day by day.I can't even feel anything now. Maybe i am numbed by all the many daily things that i have to do already.Anyway, good luck to all that are in the same boat as me.Esp. the asses.

Also did a Myer-Briggs Type Indicator test during the camp. It's like some personality test. I got INTJ. Which stands for Introversion, Intuition,Thinking,Judgemental.Can't believe i got the same as ********.Maybe i have been working too much with *******.That's why.

Anyway, got to go and sleep now.Have to recharge myself for 7 hours of Physics tmr.

I have been thinking over this question since last week. What is the purpose of my life? Why am I brought here? What am I supposed to acheive?

For many things in life that we do, we usually look for a purpose or an objective in doing so or even ask ourselves why am i doing it?Like even in writing composition we need a purpose, in solving a math problem we need to know what we have to acheive at the end of it .

Actually i haven't really been thinking for the whole week about this question. Just remembered this when i was quietly sitting in church waiting for mass to start. and also when someone spoke about purpose today again.

It might be a short, 7 word question. and might seem easy to answer at first. but after thinking for a few seconds you might start getting puzzled. that's what happened to me.

This question really needs a lot of reflection and looking back at what we have done. and also what we are going to do.

I am still thinking about this one. maybe will let you know when i've found the answer

3 weeks of sch has already passed. So many things have happened. Sometimes, i don't even realise that it's happening and i just go through it.or maybe i don't even have the time to think through.

the sec1 orientation was alright. i was not the one really in-charge so does not really matter.However, i spent the time after lunch on that day to prepare for cca day the next day. This time, i was in-charge. I did for the student council but did not for NPCC. It was i can call it a success because many people signed up. the application forms had thickness of my science textbook.

another thing, i am in potters&scribe now. Actually i had to sign up for one as my pastoral attachment(PA) so that i can fulfill the criteria to be confirmed in may. Looks like if u take a copy of the tomorrow newspaper, my name may be there.Haha.The preparatory exams were so horrible.I had exams like the whole week. after one paper had ended, you will have to start thinking about the next. i think that was the most taxing week so far.

Like what i have mentioned earlier, my class is going through some disease and it's spreading fast. A cure is needed to be found fast or the whole class will get killed . I have no idea why just choosing a chairperson and a vice chair is so difficult thing to do. Actually it's not difficult but some people just like creating a havoc out of nothing.Why can't they convert their energy into doing something more useful for the class like decorating the noticeboard instead of causing trouble.

I am officially promoted to vice-president of the student council now. I never expected this to happen but it just did. When mr wee broke the news to me on a saturday before chem class, i did not know what to say. i was just smiling there. maybe that's who i am, i do not show much emotions in everything that i do. The whole student council also finally received their new councillor badges. We recited the pledge again and received the badge.That was also when the teacher announce that i was vice.

lastly, the first day of chinese new year is today. Went to church in the morning and went to cousin's house for lunch after that. Food was delicious.For reunion dinner, we had a 8 course dinner at home with menu specially made.

Wow, 2008 has passed and 2009 is here. 2008 has been a great year for me but i am not sure for the rest. i hope and pray that 2009 will be as good or maybe better. But many people say that 2009 will be a worse year compared to 2008. all the recessions. today's the start of 2009,010109,haha. and tomorrow's the start of sch. I think i will not have much time anymore when sch starts do update my blog. Anyway, i am going to post some pics from my birthday. I know that my birthday was like so long time ago but it doesn't matter.

It's been so long since i posted my last entry. As usual in my life, so many things has happened.all the enjoyment, fun, work, meetings, parties, food, and many many other things.I think i went to malaysia for a week without even staying there. Love the baskin robbins. So, 5days and 2 hrs more to Christmas!!, at the same time, maybe 2 weeks more till sch reopens.

Sec 1 registration was today. Met some weird and at the same time some nice people. There are many things this world is made out of.It would be nice when sch reopens but thinking of next year- O-level!!The holidays may be too long but sch may also be the same =. so what do we want actually?

teaching ryan how to ride the bicycle. He just can't balance his body. Wonder how are the days when i learnt how to ride one. I only know that i fell many times.

The whole student council is also going through like some restructuring??THere will also be a councillor camp this monday. People please come!!Why can't u all just follow??

So, Christmas can't wait! The christmas tree has been put up.Maybe will be spending time in chinese garden for a picnic with my cousins and the whole family. I think there will be a christmas league. Haha. Family vs family. Isn't it cool?? I really am looking forward to that.

Anyway, do enjoy yourselves these remaining few days this year. This year passes really fast and i do not intend to say goodbye to it.

The Holidays are here.Means no more headstart and remedial programmes. But maybe still have to go back for council things.The council has changed many things but i am still the secretary/treasurer but i thing added internal discipline.Hahaha.Many people will be going for their holidays now or going back home.but i dunno whether i will be going or not. Maybe. So, the councillor shirt is done finally. Orange. After much bugging frm those that i ask money from i always say,"My job is to collect money only the shirt u will have to ask another person"Those some people will understand it when or if they take over my job.
It's since has been 1 year i came went to india.Haha.Just saw the picture on facebook.
Also went to borders to buy a book."RUN" by jeff abbott. Read until pg 80 i think. Nowadays i am reading so slowly. Don't know whether is it the font is small or i really have read slower. Anyway there was a sentence, "The knife in the hand doesn't buy security when the other man has a bigger knife".So true.

I watched Quantum of Solace , the new james bond movie on 5/11. It was nice. A lot of action but i think the previous is better.

After a long long time

Finally i am updating my blog. I have always wanted to do it but was very lazy.So many things have happened throughout this period in my life.Let me list them down:

h)"FRIENDSHIP" problems- don't think about nonsensical things
i)finally got to get back to JB

My end year results are ok. Not too bad but not that fantastic either.2A1,2A2,1B3,1B4,1C5. But at the very least i improved from the beginning of the year.Got 7 in class. Looks like this year i never moved from 7-10.Hope to do better in sec4. The bigger news, sch's ended for year 2008.But the biggest news is that ther is still the Headstart and IRP programme.A larger news is that there was still Phy and Chem SPA. I could do those experiments but could not answer those questions. How fustrating! I could not sleep the past 2 nights because of the physics questions.Mr Jeremy Tan and Mr Ong left the school.That's sad cause Mr Ong can't teach us Phy anymore.And the worse thing is some people say Mr Gary Lee may take over.Mdm Shanti also left.

The "CRASHING" economy is seriously crashing and i cannot do anything about it. Just do what u have been thought since young, save money. That's the only thing you can do now.

Now, my "GREAT" birthday is "GREAT" in many ways. Xiao Wan, Meila and Sue Ann brought me to swensens. I seriously did not know they were trying to celebrate my birthday. Until Wan said." Should we tell her know?"I thought don't tell me they were trying to do something some people tried doing to me last year.I was so happy on the way back home.The other "GREAT" part was that i was sick on the actual day of my birthday.Why am I always sick on my birthday?

FRIENDSHIP problems are something you cannot rrun away from. I have mended one but another has risen. Just let the thing go and forget about it. Maybe it is easy for me to do that but not for the other party. Nevermind though.Just let it be.

I at last got to taste malaysia food again after a long time.So nice! Got to go now. Still have English class tomorrow.

The End-Year exams has just ended.Yay!!I have been waiting for this day. I have spent a lot of time on this whole month studying.I really hope the results are not too bad. But i already know some are going to be very bad.Like my A.Math. Did i study as hard as the other subjects for this subject? Or is it that i do not have enough practise?I really have to do something about it during the coming holidays.

I am also very happy today for my Chemistry paper.I could do all the chemical calculation questions on the paper. I have never done that before.I thought that i would have to give up trying to do it. But i had to do it knowing that it would cost at least 10 marks in the paper.All thanks to the extra remedial lesson yesterday. He thought me how to do them step-by-step.Looks like the quote practise makes perfect really works.But i am not sure whether i will get it correct or not.

Anyway all's over now.I will just have to wait for the results.It will not be too long.School ends on the 24 October.After a few days of recovery, I will have to get back to the books.

Finally the holidays are over.Now i have to go back to sch earlier.The only difference during the holidays was going to school later.Anyway, here are a few activities to go through:

Councillor camp:
it was so fun!sad that many people never go.They missed out on so many things.Heard thia song during camp.Really nice song.(unbreakable ,westlife)

BBQ:
I had BBQ at my cousin's house.It was ok.Food was nice.

Homework:
I have almost finished my work except heymath,chem.Counted not bad already.

Well, sch for term 4 is starting tomorrow.I really hope to acheive something this year.help me!!Got to really study hard for end-year.

Holidays? Never!!!

I was so happy thinking that the 1 week of the september holidays i could finally have some rest after a long long time.The whole term 3 was so tiring and exhausting.i practically did not have enough rest as usual for the whole term.But, teachers had to start thinking about homework and assignments.Never mind that.They also wanted extra classes.Just imagine for each science takes two days.luckily i only take Physics and Chemistry.Other than extra classes, homework,also got councillor camp.Councillor camp=planning.
I just feel like screaming now.My timetable:

I am sure i am not the only one's who are feeling like this.My other classmates will also surely feel the same way.Some may even have more than what i have.But, this is all i can carry now.Do NOT add to it!!

I also just received my results for term3.Do not want to comment about it.I just am trying to pray and hope that everything will nicely be in place.

BPL 08/09 is back!!

Yay!! The Barclays premier league season 08/09 is back again.The webpage can be found in my links. Go and check it out . Chelsea must do their best this time.My main rival: Manchester United.They won the title last season because of goal difference only wat.This time, Chelsea is going to have it.They signed many new players like Deco, Robinho also coming.
Enough about soccer........

Let me elaborate now.I took A.Math,Malay, Geog , English test this week.Anymore??I cannot remember. The best thing is that i took 3 test in one day on thurs. The first three test mentioned. It was really very tiring.But it was an interesting experience.My brain never got so saturated before.
Well, Wednesday was my worse day cause many terrible things happened.In the morning, Mr.Hoe told me my chemistry test results.It was ........................... . I don't want to type it out.Person reading this should know what i am talking about.It was somemore my English test right after that.I felt so miserable.He said that i am not taking my work seriously and not studying.I was so surprised at what he said. The days before the chemistry test i was studying it like crazy.and he can say i never study.I was so sad and kept remembering wat he said.
This day was also my worst recess cause i found people smoking during duty.Call teacher also they never pick up their phone.In the end have to go to staffrm to find them.When the teacher reach the place, they already run away.Then after that was VE. Mr Shashi was complaining so much about the students in this sch of mine.They are horrible.

Now, Friday is the best day cause it was fun and i got many shocking findings.In the morning first period, was SS. Our test was using the CPS.I got the second.Meila was the first.Yay!! This shows that Singaporeans do not really know their country well.The second last period was Math.I got back my A.Math test results.I got 27/30.Finally, I passed an A.Math test this term.Then, he showed us our CA results for A.Math. I got A1 for it!I was so surprised cause i have been failing all the test except this one.In the afternoon, got NPCC. It was one of the funnest trainings i have ever attended.Finally, I am a cadet leader now. After so many years.(actually only 2 and 1/2 yrs)Learnt many new drills.So fun.The CI said that it was one of the most not serious 2nd class drill test he have ever conducted.We were laughing so much .

Olympics week..........musical also

This week is a rather fun and tiring one.The musical was ok.They made many last minute rehearsals.It was in Singapore Polytechnic.Ended very late on friday.Only got home at 11.15 i think.
Anyway,I only think about the olympics now.Watching the table tennis finals .Singapore vs China.China just won the first match.China, give the gold to Singapore la.U all already got so many.Singapore don't even have a single medal lor.

Later got badminton men's final.This time Malaysia vs China.World no. 1 and 2 playing against each other.Hope malaysia win!!

School National Day(Singapore)

Today's the school national day.I was running around the whole morning cause i was in-charge of the festival of sports.All the games and everything i had to be in charge of.Just after the captain's ball game everyone was looking for me.i dunno why.

Anyway, my class lost in today's game the finals after winning 1D and 2B.The finals today was with 3B.I somehow feel that we did not play as well as yesterday.That's why we lost.Nevermind. At least we got silver,second place.So far,this year i got a trophy for basketball and a medal for today.

today also got teachers vs students soccer and captain's ball.mr.shashi's not too bad in marking in soccer.and also mr.wee's penalty was not bad.Landed on the top left hand corner of the net.Discovered some interesting things today.
ms tan and mrs.chui also came back today.Saw them and said hi!!

Today's not bad.I also learned many things that organising something is not easy and takes time.you also need a plan of what to do and ensures that everyone do their part.I am very happy that today's event is a success.after a week of planning.

It's another week.I've not been writing for quite a few days.I have really been really busy.So many things have happened.Like AMC, the heritage race, all the tests that i mentioned in my previous posts, maths presentation.However, many things are still waiting for me like FAST tests and national day,after that,teacher's day.I am very happy i never get in NDP or i surely not have time to do my other things......I've got an interclass captain's ball competition coming up too.First match on wednesday.Wish me and my class luck!I also have to arrange to see who plays first .A difficult choice to make.I cannot put everyone to play for the full game..So sorry if i never put you for the full match.

The heritage race on last saturday was fun and at the same time tiring.My group(me,sue ann,meila) practically ran around the CBD area.At least not the whole Singapore.First,Sultan mosque.Then,St.Joseph church.After that,Thian Hock Keng temple. Last,some indian temple.

Next,AMC.I really prefer AIC than AMC now.AIC is more of common sense but AMC is more of mathematical calculations.I really guessed half of the paper.Haha.....

The last thing i want to talk about is my group's math presentation.It was ok la.Not too bad.At first,i was really very very nervous.But after i opened my mouth and started talking,it was not so bad.Anyway,the results were out today.My group was the second highest.Yay!!!Not so much after all the work i have put in.Mr Wee said that my group was the most prepared one among all.I was thinking,"Really....meh??"I thought we were like quite last minute.78.13 i think.At least A1.Highest was Hee Yean's group 80.dunno wat.Did not see their presentation so i dunno how they presented also.Thanks to everyone in my group!!

Another crazy week

I am back from camp and first day of the week in sch.I was so so tired.Now also.Never go for National Day Parade rehearsal.Anyways,i have already told Mr.Tan that i don't want to get in.Why??Cause i am very super stressed now.About wat?Sch work,councillor programmes,tuition, many more la.Just sch work i got so much to do la.Math presentation,malay homework,a.math homework,study chem,phy,AMC,SS Fast......the lists goes on.....The sch cultural race just ended today.I can see that the students who took part had fun.Good la....Thank you to those who helped.Clap....clap.Today also my turn for pledge taking. I cannot believe that i was so nervous.

Anyways, tomorrow is my math group's turn to present our song.Sine and Cosine rule.I think i will be much more nervous than i am today.Principal,Mdm Fatimah and Mrs.Liang inside leh...I think i will faint.Good luck to me and my group.

The parish youth church camp was ok only.We had to sleep in tents instead of domitories la.So sick.Almost everyone cannot sleep.Of course i slept.I was damn tired.Those people who have read my blog for many times must have found many of this word around"tired".and "busy"

Seo ran just left the sch last thursday.Good luck to her in anything she does.She is planning to go back to Korea to study.Had a class "party" with her.

A hectic week

Finally another week passed.There was 5 test altogether i took this week.FAST test(Physics and Chemistry),Social Studies,E.math,Geog.It was an average of a test per day.Yesterday was NPCC Service Day.We went out to the vicinity around Chestnut Drive to spread the message about crime prevention.My legs was like "broken" by the time i got home.I felt so tired.TGIF!!Just did finish my math presentation on sine cosine rule.Hope that it will be a success!Just did an IQ test too. It was really a tiring week but an interesting one too.I can't seem to get the hang of chemical calculations.I don't know why.
Another thing ,ms tan's leaving. So sad.She's like one of the best PE teachers.Good luck in anything she does.

My class is going to give out the different kinds of food from the different racial groups on monday for racial harmony day.Have to wear traditional attire.What the ......
Anyway, I am going for church youth parish camp at changi next saturday til sunday.I will be more tiring than this week !I am going to look like a dead goose when i return to school on monday.

I got a new watch finally after almost 5 years with that old and simple watch.Just finish my homework.But not all.Things just seem to get harder and more difficult and never easier.Maybe easier to fail perhaps.Haha.Nothing much happened this week actually.
I went to church and the father was talking about which kind of listener are you?Choose....
1st: the never-listener(someone who thinks he is too smart and never bothers to listen to anyone or anything)
2nd: the selective listener(someone who just picks up the important points that he feels is worth taking it back)
3rd: the busy listener(someone who is too busy to listen to anything and never have time to listen)
4th: the listener(someone who listens to everyone and takes whatever he listens into consideration)

Actually listening and hearing have a very big difference.

One of my primary school friend asked me one day after looking at my msn name."So close yet so far" what does it mean?She kept asking me and i could not tell her an answer.Anyway, after much thinking, i realised that many things in this world are linked to this phrase.
Everytime when i watch a movie or a drama serial, the two person will be very close to each other but they just don't see each other.They can be just side-by-side for all u know and a wall is just the thing that separates both of them.
Or to apply it to our daily life, when we get our exam results and realised that we could have passed by just half a mark or you could have scored full marks for the paper when you wrote a wrong answer and lost 2 marks.You could have passed or scored full,but the small little barrier is what you have to overcome.This is exactly what happened this week in my life.i could have scored full marks for my math test when i lost two marks although i knew the answer.Could have been 25/25 when i got 23/25.
A saying: Sometimes what is yours have to be yours,and what is not yours no matter how hard you try it will never be.
The opposite: Nothing is impossible.
Which one to believe?Choose one for yourself.
I just feel that there is a barrier there preventing us from being close to esch other.We were very close friends last time.However, i feel that nowadays we just talk.It's not the old "us".I feel uncomfortable talking to u all.It's like i cannot trust you anymore.Why is this happening?Looks like i have found a better place to be in.

I went to church yesterday as usual.Cathecism class started again yesterday after a long break.We were asked to draw our own tombstone.As if we were going to die.It's a very sad thing to draw and design.Trust me.I just drew a house on top of it and wrote that i died on the 31st of December.No special reason of choosing that date.Just felt like it.Anyway, i was late for 10minutes.The bus came later that usual.
During mass,the homily part,the father talked about the gospel.It was taken from Mathew i think.Something about the yoke and oxen and pride.I only remembered the pride part.It was very meaningful.Our pride is something that holds us back in everything we do.It is that sense of pride that we cannot be humble.
I think it's something like that.Cannot remember already.But just think about it.It is really meaningful.

Term3 week2 :a very interesting week

So many things have been happening this week. I watched the finals of euro 08.I slept at 8.30pm,woke up at 2.30am to watch and then slept back at 5.00am and then woke up at 6.30am to go to school.Unfortunately, spain won thanks to fernando torres.Spain really played better than germany la.Poldolski was no where to be found.Ballack had a cut on his right eye.He committed so many fouls.The referee was also biased.Giving free kicks for nothing.I felt tired during the beginning of the day but after that i was energise like normal.
I saw the Principal and Vice-principal on wednesday to present the proposal for racial harmony day.They accepted the proposal.Yay!!Hope that it will be a success on the day.
I love Friday the most this week.Had PE,captain's ball.A very nice game.I had NPCC in the afternoon.It was the passing-out parade.I think.I got 3 badges.SANA,2nd class drill badge,marksmanship badge.I am a sergeant now.So happy.Had Barbeque.I was BBQing the satay.That lame CI called me the satay auntie.So stupid la.I was practically BBQing there the whole time.It was fun actually.Left school at only 7.15pm.

This week is a very busy one.Went to this Asia Pacific Youth Delegates Water Forum.It was quite interesting.Mr.Ong is so so irritating and annoying.Can't stand him.Got a new class timetable.Quite many changes.On the first day of school, Mr.Wee created a euro 08 quiz by the CPS system to "test" the system.a very interesting way.Chein Kuan and me were the winners at the end of the last round.In the end,Mr.Wee ask us both a question to determine the winner.And the winner is.....ME!!!Haha.
We had PE today.We played a game like captain's ball but it is not .My team won all the matches that we played.It was fun.In the last match, it was almost like against the koreans.The whole korean gang and the yang sisters were in the same group.However,my team won. I was almost like the assist for most of the goals.I can see and hear that the other team relly wanted me out.I guess i was the man-of-the-match.or maybe lady-of-the-match.
The euro 08 finals are Germany vs Spain.Hope Germany win!!Go!
Tomorrow's Mr.Wee's birthday.My class celebrated his birthday during math.Not the whole period of course.And another breaking news.I made my decision today.The one and biggest decision seems like i have made since i was born.Whether to go to Yunnan,China or not.It took me almost 2-3 months to make my decision.If Mr.Wee had not asked me to consider going, I would not even think of going there.but the decision I have made is still the same.Don't go.It was difficult to tell him my decision.But i had to.Sometimes you really have to make sure what u did is right and be ready to answer for the consequences.
There will be Chemistry class again as usual on saturday,tomorrow.So tired and lazy.But of course I will still have to go.Bye.

Last day of Holidays

Well,today's the last day of holidays.I have finish all my homework except english and my ss project.Tomorrow I'll have 3 periods of maths. Yay!! The holidays have been a very interesting experience.I was home alone, went to bali, watched Euro 2008, did homework, went to eat alot and many many more.Could not think of anything else.I hope that the next semester will be a better one if not stay the same.Have to wake up early again.
Germany won Portugal!!Yay!!Anyway, in that game,Germany really played better.I watched it. C.ronaldo was trying his bst but no one helped him.So sad.Now portugal blamed Chelsea for them losing.For breaking the news that Scolari is Chelsea's new manager.So stupid.Russia won Croatia anyway.So the semi-finals will be germany vs turkey.Hope germany win!!!

AIC results

I got my Australian Informatics Competition(AIC) results today.I thought that i would just get maybe a pass or something because the competition was after my mid-year Additional Math and Physics paper.So tiring.Mr Wee smsed me my results and i actually got a distinction.Yay!!!I am happy of course.Never taught of getting that.I signed up for that competition just to see how is it like.Now about my homework checklist,I am still left with some heymath.Taught of starting English and Chemistry tomorrow.
Now Euro 08,Germany and Portugal playing tomorrow morning.I dunno who to support.Maybe i will be watching the match from some Indonesian channel.

Last week of school holidays.....SAD!!!!!

It's the last week of school holidays now.And guess what am i doing.Doing homework of course.So tiring.4 weeks pass so fast.Now after the holidays, many people will start thinking about their end-year exams.and i thought mid-year just ended.I wonder what my end-year results will be like.I guess it would matter on how much hard work i put in.Anyway,i got to know my pose in the student council.Finally.I am the secretary and treasurer.Not bad la.Since primary school,i never taught that i would come this far.Since i have managed to come this far,i must work harder to go further.
I just had gastric flu the pass few days after coming back from Bali.Passed down from Charmaine to Ryan to me.So sad.Luckily i was not so weak.No fever.Haha.The food there did not really suit me.It was Balinese cuisine.The beach was under renovation.I just stayed in the room watching HBO,Star Movies all day long.I don't think so i am returning there again.Thailand is much better.
Melissa's confirmation was on sunday.I went for it.Saw the bishop.Well,my confirmation will be in a year's time.
Finally,i will of course end with some football news.Euro 2008.I thought Germany and Portugal will be in the Finals but unfortunately,Croatia beat germany 2-1.So sad.There was also another match Netherland(Holland) vs France.Netherland trashed them 4-1.In the match of Czech.rep vs Turkey,Czech.rep was leading 2-0 .However,during the last 15 minutes,Turkey scored 3 goals and won the match.There are many things that we can learn from this.Never be over confident that you will win until the time is up.It's five minutes to 1.00am.Better get to sleep now.Got to go for councillor meeting tomorrow.

Finally...a pure holiday

Yeah!!!!!!I will be going to Bali,Indonesia for a holiday on Sunday very early morning.Hope that I will have fun there.I have done finish both test 1 and 2 of both A and E maths.Finally.....At least i have done something before going for a break.Will write more about Bali when i return on the 13.Today I went to Sakura.A Japanese restaurant.It was a buffet.They serve quantity food with some quality.Not recommended if you want quality.I ate so much.My sister had gastric flu today.Anyway,I played soccer with tristan yesterday.I was not bad la.Really. Started Premiership manager game too.Tomorrow's the first match of Euro 2008. Cech.Republic vs Switzerland.I think Cech.Rep will win i hope it comes true.Unfortunately England's not in.But I was very tired.Ok.I have to shut my computer now.15 mins to 12 midnight.See you all when i come back.If anything you want to ask just sms me.Haha.As though i am so popular......

school week although it's holidays

I had to go to school for chemistry practical on wednesday,thursday and friday. Wednesday is the end of my 'home alone'. On wednesday,Heeyean got sent back home for wearing PE attire to school instead of school uniform by Mr.Ong.It was so funny. She is really good for going all the way back home.Would i have done that?I will have to think twice.On thursday, many people came to my house.My cousins.......(too many to name)As usual played PSP,PS3.Haha.I finally ended my league game on winning eleven.Of course i won the game, with the first game a draw and the rest a win.By the way,it was beginners mode that's why i could win.Got to go for now.

Yeah finally my blog is mine again.It's so irritating.Someone who has visited my blog must have flag it or something.Is it my enemy?Haha. Anyway,many things happened during this first week of holidays.My mother's friend from London came down to visit us.We had a great time.Most of the time went to eating and cooking and baking.It was also the first time i ate macaroons(a type of dessert).It is very nice.We went to two Chinese restaurants,Crystal Jade and Din Tai Fung.The food there was excellent.However, i liked the second one more cause they serve more quality and quantity food.Now holidays is not only playing and having fun for many students and i am one of them.There is still homework.Like the Heymaths work,English,Physics asknlearn.luckily it is just so few.Unlike the 1 week holidays we had in february.We were given tons of homework.Oh yah,I also went to Ikea with Xiao Wan, Meila, Sue Ann and my sister on friday.We had a very late lunch there.I ate fish and chips, 2 chicken wings and meat balls.The drink that Sue Ann bought was very worth it as all of us shared that cup of drink and it was refilled like more than 5 times.My cough is still not over.Wonder when will it stop.......

1st day of holidays...

I got my report book yesterday.I passed everything but got mostly B's.Pathetically,i only got 1A for my e.maths. My position dropped to 10th place. I will try to work harder for my Finals.I went back to school for alumni day today.It's interesting to see ex-students, some even bringing their children coming back to school again.Met Sue Ann and Meila there.I played PS3 for almost the whole day today.That "Winning Eleven games console" named my favourite football club Chelsea,Teltee.My goodness,What a disgrace.Anyway,the players are the same and i think i played almost 15 games each lasting 4 minutes.i drew the first one and won all the rest.After my PS3,here comes my computer. I saw Meila's blog.She repeated my name so many times on her blog.(Eerm,not sure wheather it is a good or bad thing). I am having a terrible cough due to the horrible whether.
